The location was excellent and unbeatable as for me, close to other nearby attractions as well as the river that flows through Bilbao. It also was in the park directly opposite. The bedroom was well-kept and high-class.

This location was good and absolutely perfect, close to the museums and the Aizian restaurant. Went to The Red Lion for drink or two, set within a close distance from the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic with meats and nuts and delicious cheeses, the staffing teams were very attentive and efficient.

Central location adjacent to river, guggenheim and adjoining park as well as the tram, the metro, bus station, the Guggenheim, the the Fine Arts Museum as well as many bars, restaurants, shops, it was in a nice little area. A few times I ate at Happy Gathering, located just a short stroll away from the hotel.

The staff was well-trained and service-minded, the breakfast offered was hot with a good choice of food. The location was decent and convenient, so close to all tourist attractions-the Guggenheim, the Zubizuri bridge, the funicular to Mt. Artxanda, and Bilbao centre.
It had not very comfortable beds, maybe it was bad luck.

Totally enjoyable stay for 7 nights at the Melia. Fairly clean place with efficient staff and beautiful view over a large park. Marvellous and best possible location, 15 minutes' walk to a modern art museum. Positioned in the peaceful area, just next door to Guggenheim, the museum and San Sebastián.
